Lemon and Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is soft on your scalp and nourishes your hair, and lemon gives a tough fight to dandruff. Heat 2 tablespoon of coconut oil so that it gets mild hot. Squeeze an equal amount of lemon juice into it. Mix it well so that it can be applied smoothly on the scalp. Give your scalp a gentle massage and rinse it off with shampoo after 20 minutes.

Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds or commonly known as methi seeds are very useful not only in our kitchen but it also has some medicinal benefits. And this works on dandruff too! To get rid of dandruff, first, put some fenugreek seeds in a bowl. Add some water and let it soak overnight. Make a paste of the seeds in the morning. Then add a little lemon juice to the paste and mix. Apply it on scalp and hair and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse off with shampoo after that.

The anti-microbial properties of tea tree oil have the power to alleviate dandruff. Dilute some drops of tea tree oil in a carrier oil like coconut oil. Apply it on the scalp, leave it for some time. Wash your hair afterward.

Aloe Vera

This juicy plant is very simple to use as a home remedy. Just cut out some portion of an aloe leaf and extract the gel. Smash the gel and apply it on the scalp. Leave it for some minutes and then wash off with water.
